Giving Day: April 22, 2025

Our Giving Day is right around the corner on April 22, 2025! This 24-hour campaign is an opportunity to raise support for families facing homelessness. Your donation on Giving Day gives families in need hope for a brighter future. A safe, affordable home is out of reach for many, but with your support, we can help families on their path to stability and success. Every child deserves a home—home is where we recharge, make memories, and find the strength to build a better future. Join us on April 22nd and help us unlock the potential of families in our community.

James’s Success Story

“The help I received from Family Promise was more than what my family could have provided. There are no words to describe how much of an impact this program and staff have had on my life. I was treated with dignity, respect, and provided hospitality throughout my stay. This is my new family!”

Vince came to us after hitting rock bottom in 2023, losing his mother and significant other in just a few months. After staying at Portlight Shelter in October 2023, he faced setbacks but didn’t give up. In November 2024, Vince reached out to Family Promise again and was welcomed back. With the support of his case manager, Vince addressed long-standing health issues and applied for Social Security benefits. Within two weeks, he secured housing through our Rapid Re-Housing program. He’s receiving rent assistance for 12 months, plus intensive case management to help him meet other personal goals with the help of his case manager.
