“Family Promise was there for us when we needed help the most. The staff is full of hardworking, caring people and the volunteers made us feel welcome. They provided us with shelter and assistance to keep hope alive. Their efforts to get us into Rapid Rehousing allowed us to not worry about housing costs for a year. We are grateful for everything they have done. It is comforting to know that they are there to help when things look bleak.”

Homeless and Housing Services
Family Promise of Ozaukee County seeks to end homelessness in Ozaukee County by rebuilding lives with compassion, providing resources and services to individuals and families at risk of homelessness in the community. Our organization works to help anyone experiencing homelessness secure safe and stable housing. Our homeless services offer a continuum of care from the first call for help to securing housing. We support our clients every step of the way.

Family Promise is the lead coordinated entry agency and employs a Coordinated Entry Specialist who assesses households who are homeless in the county. All households who are literally homeless are placed on the Housing Prioritization list. A specialist will provide referrals and limited case management services to meet their needs.

This prevention program offers rent assistance for households who are at risk of being evicted from their homes. The rent assistance helps families maintain housing and prevents them from becoming homeless.
